Outlook Mission Bay Project Update 9

And there’s the roof!

It was fantastic timing to have the roof installed on the main tower just before the holidays started. This means that the tower has now reached full-height and it won’t be long now until the building is fully enclosed.

To achieve a fully-enclosed building the construction team are now working on installing the rest of the windows and doors to the upper levels, the penthouse level should have most of the glass installed by the end of this month. Framing for internal partition walls has been started on the upper levels and the apartments on the lower levels of the tower have had the gib board lining fixed in place.

The first kitchens will start to be installed this month and local Auckland company Sharp & Page are building and installing these. Having been in business for 75 years we know the quality of their work is extremely high. The tilers have also set-up and will begin their work this month, starting with the bathrooms.
